Medical Peeling | Microneedling
Medical peelings are proven means of achieving a more pleasing appearance in relation to the skin surface.
Whether I use a superficial, medium deep or deep peeling as a treatment for my patients, and regardless of which substance I employ, I make the decision for each patient based upon the review of all the relevant factors and their wishes as to the result of the effect to be achieved. Special peeling methods for persistent pigmented macules (hormonal or caused by sun exposure) are performed in my practice after a survey of all relevant factors and the individual needs of my patients.
Careful preparation of the treatment and the strict sun protection thereafter, are crucial factors for therapeutic success.
Microneedling triggers the body’s repair mechanism, by deliberate micro trauma to the skin. It leads to the formation of new skin cells and at the same time production of collagen , elastic fibers and hyaluronic acid is stimulated. The connective tissue is tightened in a natural way and the complexion is considerably improved.
In dermatology, this minimally invasive method has been successfully used for the treatment of:
- Acne scars
- Stretch marks
- Pigment disorders
- Superficial wrinkles
A special anesthetic cream is applied 30 minutes before microneedling – thus you will feel the fine needles only slightly.
How many treatments are recommended?
Depending on the skin condition 3 to 6 treatments are recommended at an interval of about 2 to 4 weeks. By treating the skin is much more receptive, so that skin care substances are more effectively absorbed by the skin.
